INFORMATION FOR PICTURE/eVOLUTION WEEK

WHEN: MAY 13TH-18TH (SEE SCHEDULE)

WHAT: PICTURE WEEK AND EVOLUTION WEEK

WHERE: AT INTRIGUE DANCE

What is Picture/Evolution Week? Registration for for our 2024-2025 Season opens Monday, May 13th, and we are offering exclusive member-only discounts for families that register on their dancer's picture day! Evolution meetings to register for the 24-25 season are conveniently scheduled during your dancers recital photos which lines up with their current class time(s)!

At your Evolution Meeting (highlighted in blue), plan to meet with Intrigue Staff to discuss the following:

  1. Your dancer's progress and level placement for the 24-25 season

  2. Get a sneak peak at the tentative class schedule

  3. Learn about an exciting new program offered for the 24-25 season

  4. Reserve your spot before we open the classes to the public

  5. Register & take advantage of exclusive, one-day-only discounts

    • Please be sure to have all family decision makers present at Evolution so you don't miss out on tuition discounts!

*Note: Pre Pro Dancers will have their evolution meeting at the beginning of June. Schedule to come out soon.

For your Dancer’s Photo Day:

  1. Dancers must arrive at the studio for class (in schedule below) on their picture day 5 minutes early.

  2. Dancers must arrive fully dressed in their recital costume with hair and make-up done.

    • HAIR:

      • All Dancers for combo classes will wear hair in a slicked back ballet bun (see recital information page for tutorial). All hip hop dancers must have hair in clean ponytail (or half back for short hair).

    • TIGHTS:

      • All Stars Combo classes will wear flesh tone tights. All Pre Pro classes will wear pink tights or flesh tone tights (tights must match color of their shoe) for their ballet picture.

  3. See the schedule for the correct shoe that your dancer should be wearing for their photo

  4. Dancers will take group shots with their class as well as individual photos. You are not required to purchase any pictures or packages, but we do ask that everyone is attendance for picture day.

  6. Photos will be available to preview and purchase beginning June 3rd.

  • Dancers will take their recital picture in this class.

  • PARENTS ARE ASKED TO STAY AFTER DROP-OFF FOR THEIR EVOLUTION MEETING TIME SLOT WITH INTRIGUE STAFF

    • Please be sure to have all family decision makers present at Evolution so you don't miss out on our one-day-only tuition discounts!

*CLASSES HIGHLIGHTED IN PURPLE: Picture Day Only, Parents are asked to drop off dancer in their recital costume “picture ready’ and do not need to stay for any meetings.

*All other classes NOT listed in the below schedule will happen as normal, and normal dress code applies. All classes will still meet this week!

ORDER ONLINE:

Links will be sent to your email up to two weeks after Picture Day for you to purchase dance pictures. You will be able to review your dancer’s pictures online, select the ones you want to purchase, and order packages/accessories of your dancer/group! For a sneak peak at some options, see below for reference- much more will be available online!
